While its listening age is limitless, the music itself stands the test of time. Lyrical themes include heartbreak, angst, and growing up \u2013 all things every human goes through at nearly any stage of life.<\/p>\n

Warped Tour<\/i> used to be the lifeline of the genre (similar to the likes of Coachella<\/i>) only tailored more specifically to pop punk, rock, and hardcore artists. While trying to navigate my way out of the sea of people, I became stuck. In this moment, The Used was playing \u201cTake It Away\u201d singing \u201ctake my hand\u201d on repeat. While these words rang out, a hand grabbed mine and pulled me through the people I was stuck in. She danced there with a smile on her face, a beer in her hand, with my hand in the other singing the lyrics \u201ctake my hand!\u201d It was the most perfect moment in music I\u2019d ever experienced. That random girl saw my need to get out of the crowd and she took it upon herself to help me through.
